Readiness & states
Understand what Router observes about an enrolled provider computer.
Provider status combines saved configuration with live observations from Core Node. These signals answer different questions and should not be collapsed into one online switch.
Provider states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
offline | Router has no current provider session for the computer. |
connecting | Core Node is establishing or restoring its Router session. |
ready | The selected model is available and the computer can accept work. |
busy | The computer has an active assignment and cannot accept another. |
paused | Sharing is stopped by current configuration or local control. |
revoked | The Router enrollment no longer authorizes this computer. |
Saved settings and observed state
A saved sharing preference records what should happen. Readiness records what Router can observe now. A computer can be configured to share while offline, starting, downloading a model, or sleeping.
Online and free capacity
An online provider has a current connection. A ready provider is both connected and free for a matching model revision. Each provider accepts one request at a time, so it moves from ready to busy during generation.
What the web dashboard can do
My computers can show observed status and supported controls. It cannot wake a sleeping machine, start an offline Core Node application, or make a missing local model ready remotely.
A healthy path
- Core Node is running and signed in to the owner account.
- The computer remains enrolled and sharing is enabled.
- The configured model is present with the expected revision.
- Core Node establishes a provider session.
- Router shows the computer as ready until it accepts an assignment.
